Born Robert Lyle De Ment (Bob) in 1932 at Stockton, CA. Married 1952 to Janet Ruth Cree (JAN) residing in Stockton CA Father of three grown children Joseph, Patricia, and Laurie, In the Greater San Joaquin Valley and Delta area. Educated at Stockton Grammar and High school, Stockton College.

Mom and Dad De Ment encouraged my training and schooling in landscape artistry leading to a 35 year career as a landscape contractor and designer.

My Art endeavors include Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pencil and Ink drawings and paintings subjects are landscapes, portraits, miniatures, and cartoons.

The “Family of Birds” evolved from a request in 1968 from my Mom, she wanted a drawing of her singer cannery, and the first drawings were simple pen and ink on paper.

The 1970s brought about the full hand drawn pen and ink watercolor art images of today. The number of drawings have grown to over 1525 to date most live in private collections.
